Event Committee: In charge of organizing participation at Boone County events. Parades, fundraiser's, community celebrations, all have local party involvement and is a showcase of our Democratic strength.
Party Building Committee: One of our top committees, this is a continuous effort. Organize fundraising goals, county publicity, recruitment for Central Committee membership, and a focus on candidate recruitment for election at the county, state and federal level.
LTE Committee: This is a year round effort by local people to submit "Letter to the Editor" to local and regional newspapers to show what Democrats are fighting for at the local, state and national levels. Its a crucial tool to keep people informed.
2012 Caucus Committee: Helps prepare site locations, coordinates with IDP personnel, recruits volunteers for staffing caucus sites.
GOTV Committee: "Get Out The Vote" is crucial in every election year. Local volunteers and supporters are the foundation of the Boone County Democratic Party. They knock doors, make phone calls, work the county HQ and provide the manpower to turn out the vote.
