Chris Jones Water Quality Flotilla
Join Secretary of Agriculture candidate Chris Jones for a float trip down the Des Moines River with a stop in Boone on September 5th. This event offers a chance to hear about Jones’s plans for Iowa farmers, rural communities, and sustainable agriculture while enjoying the river and learning about Iowa’s water quality problems. The event is open to supporters, community members, and media. In Boone we will have:

The Boone County Democrats are excited for you to attend the annual Brown Woodard dinner. The award honors the person who people feel has given the most to the Democratic cause in Boone County. It is also a time to have fun, network, enjoy good food and conversation, and meet candidates for state and federal office. This year we are also excited to have Michaelyn Mankel of Food and Water Watch talking about climate issues in Iowa and what we can do to make things better.

Calling all 4th District Democrats!
On Saturday, September 27th, we will hold our 4th District Workshop in Ogden, Iowa! The event will be held at the Leonard Goode Community Center in Ogden (Boone County). Special thanks to our friends at the Boone County Democrats, who are working to provide lunch for us and serve as hosts.
